Promote development of community assets within the character of Ku-ring-gai /St Ives,
Monitor development and campaign against out of character proposals.
Provide support to residents and community groups to aid their involvement with Council, State Government in regard to development and community involvement.
Past members of note include: J. Maunder World War 1 Veteran and promoter of the St Ives Village Green. Annie Wyatt founder and President of the National Trust Australia. Her son, Ivor Wyatt (see also Ivor Wyatt Reserve Cnr. Link Rd and Mona Vale Rd. Mayor, Creswell O'Reilly (known as the Tree Mayor).
